Chris, I put the Saturn casters (wheeled) feet on my equipment rack. Even on a thin carpet, I don't have any wobbling at all. With the reviewing gig, I am SOOOOOO glad that I have the wheels - it makes things so easy when swapping components. The…

My vote goes to Salamander. I've got a triple 20 for my TV stand with the flat panel mount for my Fujitsu plasma, and a single 20 with a 40 on top for my equipment rack. Add the Saturn caster feet, the extendend back panels, and possibly the mesh si…

I saw Transformers yesterday in IMAX. Big screen, big sound, big robots. No plot. But that's what I expected going in, so I had a good time with it. Star Trek was great, best series re-boot IMO.

So what is the verdict on Public Enemies? I am a huge fan of 1920-1945 era history.

I was Transformers...but a bit of a letdown due to cruddy projection setup...see the discussion already ongoing here: http://cave.hometheaterhifi.com/group/projectors/forum/topics/movie-theater-vs-home

I was an early adopter as I owned a Tag AV32 with the EQ. Then I used RoomEQ and also had some time with Audissey. For one year now I am the proud owner of a D2 with ARC. Nothing, nothing! compares to ARC. No need to argue here. Just check for yours…

I love the room EQ that I have experienced with my two processors, one a Denon and the other a Lexicon. It makes a HUGE difference. That is why I wrote that bit about the Lexicon MC-12B processor being superb for two-channel audio setups. You can di…

I've already seen the blockbuster I most anticipated (three times, actually)--Star Trek. I've seen a few other movies with my wife and/or daughter, but I could have waited for any of them until available for rental.

Now I haven't read the Harry Potter books as I just haven't had much interest in them, but my wife has read them all, and so have many other friends, and they all really love them and they're supposed to be very well done. Since there is very good s…

I enjoy movies like Transformers purely for the sights and sounds. Story? Don't really need one if the action sequences are well-done.

I've had 2L's "Divertimenti" disc from Trondheim Solistene for a few months now (I think track 17 on your sampler is one of the songs) and I have to agree, the sound quality is absolutely fantastic. The Divertimenti disc comes with the hi-rez Blu-ra…

My guess is that if you are old enough to even want to join this forum Transformers is not your type of movie. Not to generalize too much, but it seems aimed at 12-16 year old males, and among that group mainly gamers most likely. Now, that said, do…

I have the Audyssey XLR PRO SoundEqualiser and a certified installer. I prefer only using it for movies. 2 ch Music should in my opinion not be Equalized. Have a friend talk in front of u in between your front speakers listen to his or hers voice. I…
